Letter of Apology
Madam,
I request you to kindly excuse me for my absence in the class on xx/xx/2015. I really wanted to attend the classes as the lessons are important as well as interesting. I was coming to the lecture hall. But, unfortunately, I was stuck in the elevator for two hours. It was a terrible experience for me. It seems there was a technical fault in the elevator and it took a long time to repair it.
Impossible it appears, but it is true. I am unhappy for missing your class. Please help me learn quickly the lessons that I missed, and help me make up for my loss. In the future, I will take more care to be on time for the classes.
