    1. John is shier than Helen : ( John est plus timide qu'Helen )

    Helen is not as shy as John. ( Helen n'est pas aussi timide que John )

    Helen is less shy than john. ( Helen est moins timide que John )

    2. Chris is less talkative than you :

    You are more talkative than Chris.

    3. London is bigger than Birmingham:

    Birmingham is less big than London.

    Birmingham is not as big as London.

    4. Birmingham is less warm than London :

    London is warmer than Birmingham.

    5. Visiting Paris is less funny than visiting London:

    Visiting London is funnier than visiting Paris.
